Tim Child is a seasoned advancement executive who provides counsel in executive search and consulting to the clients of Aspen Leadership Group, a ZRG company. He has managed a diverse portfolio of executive searches and has placed and coached advancement leaders at prominent organizations in higher education, arts and cultural institutions, national nonprofits, foundations and institutes, and more.
Before joining Aspen Leadership Group as a Founding Senior Associate, Tim led alumni engagement, fundraising, and organizational development at multiple world-class organizations. He has presented regularly at conferences hosted by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and the Association of Private College and University Alumni Directors (PCUAD). He is a member of the Board of Advisors of the Goldin Institute.
Most recently Tim led the J. Paul Getty Trust in Los Angeles as Vice President of Institutional Advancement. For more than 20 years, he served in senior positions at the University of Chicago where he also earned an MBA and a master’s degree. Tim holds a bachelor’s degree from St. Mary’s College (CA).
