The CDO Network will be joined by The Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University for its quarterly forum. This quarter’s presentation will focus on new research and practical solutions for fundraiser burnout.

You and your colleagues will have the opportunity to hear from Senior Assistant Dean for External Relations, Clinical Associate Professor, and Director, The Fund Raising School Bill Stanczykiewicz, and share thoughts based on your own experiences.

He will be joined by Amanda Sattler, a doctoral candidate with the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. As a Doctoral Candidate in Philanthropic Leadership, Amanda’s research examines how fundraiser burnout, fueled by chronic resource scarcity, cascades through non-profit systems — diminishing human capacity and mission delivery. Grounded in evidence-based leadership and burnout theory and centered on voices from the field, her study offers practical tools and targeted interventions to cultivate sustainable leaders and resilient resources that support and amplify mission impact.
