Before her appointment as Vice President at Harvard University, she served as the Associate Dean for Advancement and Planning at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study, Associate Director of University Development, Director of Major Gifts for the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and Director of International Admissions in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, all at Harvard, and also as search consultant at Heidrick and Struggles.
Now a fundraising and strategy consultant, she is also an active volunteer as a Charter Trustee of Phillips Academy in Andover and as a member of the Dean’s Advisory Group at Harvard’s Graduate School of Education, the board of the Cambridge Public Library Foundation, and the Advisory Board of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.
